Check if any website is up or down right now.
Checking whether a website responds
Enter a web address to see whether the server responds and what HTTP status code it returns. It helps you tell whether a problem is on your side or the site is really down.
Common status codes
- 200: the page loaded normally.
- 301 and 302: the address redirects somewhere else.
- 403: access is forbidden.
- 404: the page was not found.
- 500 and 503: the server has an error or is temporarily unavailable.
If a site looks down
- Check your own connection and try another site.
- Clear the browser cache or try a different browser.
- Wait a few minutes and test again, since many outages are short.
